The Manchester Peregrine Falcon Live Webcam made its debut in 2004, a time when live video on the Internet was unheard of. A collaboration between Spectra Access and the New Hampshire Audubon, we designed and implemented a system that, by today's standards, might be considered crude, but in 2004 was revolutionary!
In 2018, Genuity Networks acquired Spectra Access, and with the Manchester Peregrine Falcon webcam achieving global recognition and affection from both local and international viewers, it served as the inspiration for our company's name – "Peregrine Networks."
Recognized by YouTube as one of the top Falcon webcams globally, all of this is made possible by the Peregrine Networks infrastructure. Today, these cameras offer a window into the lives of wild Peregrine Falcons, attracting viewers locally and globally. During nesting season (Late March to Early July), many schools, both nearby and distant, utilize the cameras for research projects.
If you enjoy watching the cameras, please consider supporting the NH Audubon.
