It’s been discovered that all 224 million of cableTV (not all Comcast, but close) boxes across the nation — together consume as much electricity as produced by four giant nuclear reactors, running around the clock! One cableTV box can consume as much as 35W and you have this running 7x24x365…wow!
If a cableTV box uses 35W of power, one can only imagine how much power Comcast uses at their head-end?!?!?
